Our Story

Sara and Cliff (and their son Malcolm) bought a northeastern Pennsylvania vacation home in the Pocono mountains in 2005, in partnership with Malcolm’s Uncle Randy. The house provides a getaway for the adults, and a place for Malcolm and his friends to experience nature, and utilize the many amenities the community offers. Randy is the Pococabana designer/decorator; he enjoys gardening, collecting, decorating, entertaining and cooking, and spends most weekdays at the house. Sara, Cliff and Malcolm love going to Pococabana on the weekends, and are Randy's helpers. However, we are sometimes not able to go to the house. This often leaves the house available for short-term rentals.

Because we’ll only rent through referrals, we hope to keep the spirit and design of Pococabana intact. We know you won’t trash our house, nor would you refer someone who would. And you'll enjoy a lovely holiday in our beautiful house!
